Research Group

Welcome to the Biomedical Engineering and Computing Research Group! We are a collaboration between the University of South Wales and the Rehabilitation Engineering Unit (REU) of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board's Artificial Limb and Appliance Service (ALAS). Our research focuses on developing new techniques and tools for use in developing postural management solutions to improve function and posture for people who have neurological, musculoskeletal and/or other conditions that result in limited movement, complex body shapes and complications such as respiratory impairment.

This website is being constructed as we believe our research should be readily visible to those it will affect and users of the new technologies we develop. Please have a look around the website and research topics and if you have any questions feel free to contact us.
